Speak & pitch
Speak with confidence. Present clearly. Truly convince.
At Idiomas, querida! we believe that speaking a language is not just about knowing grammar. It's about knowing how to communicate, convey ideas, connect with your listener, and do it with confidence.
That's why we created Speak & Pitch, a new line of classes focused on public speaking, presentations and pitching, in both English and Spanish (or any language we work in).
Because speaking a language is one thing… and defending an idea, presenting a project, or convincing the person in front of you is quite another.
That's exactly what we do here.
Structure a clear and compelling presentation
Explaining complex ideas in a simple way
Speaking naturally in front of an audience
Use tone, pauses, and rhythm to communicate better
Answer questions with confidence
Prepare professional or creative pitches
The classes combine language, communication, and stage technique, so you can convey your message with clarity, confidence, and personality.

Stage technique applied to communication
Besides being a language teacher, I am an actor and screenwriter.
I have studied acting, completed a master's degree in screenwriting, and have been fortunate enough to sell and develop several of my own projects: micro-theater plays (such as Tócame), a pilot developed with La Competencia (José Mota's production company), A La Calle, and several series projects that are currently in negotiation with different platforms.
All of that journey has something in common: learning to present ideas in a way that makes them interesting.
Because good ideas don't always succeed.
But good ideas, well told… have a much greater chance of success.
In these classes we apply tools from the world of interpretation and writing:
- Techniques for controlling nerves
- Memorization tools and speech structure
- I work with emotions, rhythm, and tone.
- Resources to capture and maintain the public's attention
Our goal is for your speech to be so internalized and so well constructed that nothing can make you fail.
Think about something very simple: If someone asked you to sing Happy Birthday with a gun to your head… you could probably do it. Why? Because you know it perfectly.
That's the point we want to reach with your speech: that you have it so clear, so well-rehearsed, and so deeply internalized that nerves won't get the better of you. And from there, don't let it get the better of you (neither from nerves nor from your speech), but rather let it soar!
We also worked on the idea
Because communicating well isn't just about speaking well. It's also about knowing what to say... and what not to say.
Thanks to my background in screenwriting and project development, we will also work on:
- Organize your ideas
- Condense your message
- Avoid over-reporting
- Don't leave anything important out.
A good pitch isn't the longest. It's the clearest, the most precise, and the one that leaves you wanting more.

Who is it for?
This program is designed for:
- Professionals who need to present projects in English
- Students preparing academic presentations or defenses
- Entrepreneurs who want to improve their pitch
- People who participate in conventions, trade shows, or professional presentations
- Creative people who need to present ideas or projects, whether they are film-related or otherwise.
- Or simply those who want to overcome their fear of public speaking
And yes: this can be done in English, Spanish or any language we teach at the academy (and we can even consider working on the techniques for other languages if you need it).
Because the ultimate goal is very simple:
That when you have to speak in front of others…
be MORE than prepared.
Go for it and speak your mind to those who are ready to bet on you!
